Our Principles in Caring for the Environment

It is our mission to foster a healthy and sustainable future for those communities and their associated forests. In accordance to our mission and the Forest Products Act 2000, we follow a set of principles for sustainable forest management.
These are the same principles followed by the Forest Products Commission which includes:
the conservation of biodiversity
the maintenance of ecosystem health and vitality
the conservation and maintenance of soil and water
the maintenance of productive capacity
the maintenance of heritage, and
the maintenance of socio-economic values.
These principles are implemented through
rigorous internal processes and environmental controls
continuous education and workforce development
strong stakeholder engagement
continuous improvement
independent auditing and certification of our processes, systems and procedures
